The Air Trainer Huarache is back in one of its most coveted colorways to ever hit shelves. Decked out in black and Cool Blue nubuck leather, the layered upper wraps the stretchy, foot-hugging inner sleeve and comes fully equipped with the exoskeleton design, wrap-around heel cage and midfoot strap. When the future arrived in 1991, it was met with scepticism. Tinker Hatfield drew inspiration from waterskiing when designing this audacious running shoe. He also loved the minimal design of traditional Mexican Huarache sandals, and aimed to create a stripped-down, straight-forward shoe that would leverage Nike's latest innovations to out-perform the competition.
